HOA Meeting Update

Attendees: Judy Owens, Judy Nance

Members not Present: Naima Halim-Chestnut, Mary Neubauer, Sandy Goble, Sheila Gann, Mechelle Parker, Tiffany DeBerry, Justin Gann, Greg Daniels

Items Discussed:

Block Party - Judy & Steve Owens would like a party, thought their cul-de-sac on NW 16th street would be good location. Further discussion required.

Cleanup Weekend - Yard waste dumpster already half full by 4:00 pm on Friday. Is this a problem?

Annual Dues - During cleanup weekend, several neighbors said they did not receive billing statements for 2009 membership. Harry Dexheimer, 1704 NW Aston Dr., 229-2231 said he didn't receive statement.

Block Captains - Inquiry during cleanup weekend about who to contact to set up block captain program.

Other - B Wilkes, 819 NW 16th St., 228-6680, would like some help in getting neighbor to clean up their yard. Ideas?

Apology - Sorry about the unfinished emails I sent to each of you. I'm not too good at this mass sending of emails. Hope to get better!

Welcome

We have some new members to our board we would like to welcome. Mechelle Parker, Judy Nance, and Judy Owens. They are all new directors to the board. Naima is still our president and we have a new VP, Sandra Goble. So let me say good luck to all those in their new position.

We would like to thank Pam Kosewick, Madeline Noud, Cindy George for their service on the board. It is nice when our neighbors get involved in making our neighborhood a safer and better place.

Trash Cans

Please keep your trash cans no more than 5 feet from the garage door(s). Please do not put them at the end of the driveway. Thank you for your cooperation on this.

City Ordanance

Cars are not to be parked on the lawns. Only concrete or gravel. So please move your car if it is parked on the lawn.

Annual Meeting

Hello everyone. We are having our annual HOA Meeting on February 19 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. It will be held at the Blue Springs Media Room. We will have Food, Door Prizes and a Kids Craft Corner. We have had some recent break ins and would like your input and support in order to make our neighborhood a better place to live. Please bring a canned food item. Donations will be given to help needy families in Blue Springs. We are looking foward to the fellowship and input that you have for all of us. See you at the meeting.

I just wanted to thank everyone that volunteered for dumpster duty. We really appreciate the help and support. It was a total success. What a weekend for cleanup. We couldn't have asked for a better Sunday day. Maybe a Chiefs win but I digress. I would also like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to fill out the surveys and take them to the drop box. The drop box location I have written in an earlier post. We are counting on these to get returned and are hoping it we get full participation in this. Once again thank you.
